March 20, 2020 was the last time Feed Me Weird Things was broadcast live from WORT’s Studio Combo B, at 118 S. Bedford Street, in downtown Madison, WI. Since the studio went into lockdown, DJ Din Sibo and nearly a hundred other hosts have been producing offsite. Since that first pre-recorded program, I have been archiving a quarantine blooper reel. All the stumbles, blunders, and outtakes that didn’t make airplay, 3/27/20-3/19/21. This piece allows the listener an intimate peek behind the curtain of the Commerce Of Noise subterranean production studio, into the world of DJ Din Sibo. The artwork represents an additional quarantine photography project involving a collection of childhood toys staged in vignettes celebrating of the 50th anniversary of Woodstock.
